100C of C The supplier shall furnish a copy of the certificate of conformance meeting all specified parametric / enviromental requirements. This certificate is required in addition to the implied certificate. Certificate of Conformance (C of C) shall be supplied with each individual shipment. The C of C must contain, as a minimum; PO number, name of manufacturer, specification or part number, specification or drawing revision, serial number, lot number or date of manufacture, and signature of the QA manager. A C of C is required to assure items supplied have been processed to the specification required by the drawing and PO. The distributor is required to provide acquisition traceability. Certificates of Compliance that include the phrase "to the best of our knowledge and belief" and similar expressions will not be accepted.
101FAI Required A) Supplier shall perform a complete first article inspection to applicable drawings specification, technical instructions, processing tooling, inspection and test equipment to assure the product is compliant with the requirements of this purchase order. B) FAI applies to one piece from the first lot, unless otherwise set forth in this purchase order or through written waiver by quality assurance. First article inspection shall be performed on all end item part numbers. Engineering models or units delivered for non-production application do not require FAI. C) Supplier is responsible for determining the method of performing FAI and shall use a form that contains all required information as specified in SAE AS9102. D) The FAI requirement, once invoked, shall continue to apply even after initial compliance. Any or all of the following events requires re-accomplishment of a full, or a delta/partial FAI for affected characteristics: (note: if none of the following conditions are applicable at the time of product delivery, first article inspection is not required.) 1. A change in the design affecting form, fit, or function of the part. 2. A change in manufacturing source(s), processers, assembly line, inspection method(s), location, tooling, or materials. 3. A change in numerical control program or translation to another media. 4. A natural or man-made occurrence with may adversely affect the manufacturing process. 5. All repeat builds on production parts when more than two years has elapsed (or as otherwise directed in the purchase order) since the last production item was produced.
102DFARS This order is subject to DFARS 252.225-7008 Restriction on Acquisition of Specialty Metals and 252.225-7009 Restriction on Acquisition of Certain Articles Containing Specialty Metals. (Ref DFARS 225.872-1 for a list of qualifying countries.)
103No Counterfeit parts If suspect/counterfeit parts are furnished under this order and are found in any of the goods delivered hereunder, such items will be impounded by Buyer, Seller shall promptly replace such suspect/counterfeit parts with parts acceptable to the Buyer and the Seller shall be liable for all costs relating to the removal and replacement of said parts, including without limitation Buyer's external and internal costs of removing such counterfeit parts, of reinserting replacement parts and of any testing necessitated by the reinstallation of Seller's goods after counterfeit parts have been exchanged, Seller shall be fully liable for all such costs, even if such cost might be considered indirect, special, or consequential damages. Seller's liability for suspect/counterfeit parts shall not expire until intentional ignition of a launch vehicle if found in product for Space application and for 60 months after delivery if product for non-space application(e.g. ground or airborne). At Buyer's request, Seller shall return any removed counterfeit parts to Buyer in order that Buyer may turn such parts over to its Government customer for further investigation. Seller agrees that any Government or quasi-Government directive, such as a GIDEP alert or a directive from The Aerospace Corporation indicating that such parts are counterfeit, shall be deemed definitive evidence that Seller's parts contain counterfeit parts.
104Record Retention The supplier and his subtier suppliers shall retain all of their inspection, examination, test, and certification records for a period of at least ten (10) years after the completion of this purchase order.
105Access to facility Seller shall allow Access to Ability Metal Company, its Customer, and any Regulatory authorities to all facilities involved in the order and to all applicable records. A formal Request of the visit would be coordinated in a timely manner for all parties.
106Terms and Conditions Unless otherwise agreed in writing, this Purchase Order is accepted under Ability Metal Company's standard Terms and Conditions.
107Supplier must be BOEING approved for process Supplier shall be responsible to ensure that all special process are performed by a approved Boeing processer per the Boeing Approved Process Sources D1-4426.
108Supplier must be NORTHROP/NADCAP approved for process Supplier shall be responsible to ensure that all special process are performed by an approved Northrop Grumman processer or a National Aerospace and Defense Contractor Accreditation Program (NADCAP) processer.
109Supplier must be NADCAP approved for process Supplier shall be responsible to ensure that all special process be performed by an accredited National Aerospace and Defense Contractor Accreditation Program (NADCAP) processer.
110Supplier must follow BOEING DPD procedures per D6-51991 Supplier shall adhere to Boeing DPD procedure D6-51991 in handling all digital data and derivatives.
111End user NORTHROP Northrop Grumman part.
112End user RAYTHEON Raytheon part.
113End user BOEING Boeing part.
114Material Certification required The supplier shall furnish a certified material test report showing the material description, including as applicable, alloy, type, grade or condition, the mill name, country of origin, lot or heat number and the material specification.
115Best commercial practice Material is for commercial use. Use best commercial practice for manufacturing and packaging.
116Material must be DOMESTIC The supplier shall furnish a certified material test report showing the material description, including as applicable, alloy, type, grade or condition, the mill name, melted and manufactured in the United States, lot or heat number and the material specification.
117ITAR Supplier shall adhere to the ITAR compliance requirements. International Traffic in Arms Regulation.
